Westvaco Retiree Was Emory United Methodist Church Member

Mr. Ronald Luther Bolling, age 70, of Hot Springs, Virginia, died Monday, July 4th, 2016 at Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs.

He was the husband of Terry M. Bolling.

Mr. Bolling was born January 28, 1946 in Hinton, WV, a son of the late Nathan Ray Bolling and Thelma June Bragg.

Mr. Bolling was retired from Westvaco as an operator in the pulp mill with 42 years of service.

He loved people and loved to joke with Nancy Helmintoller, enjoyed gardening and riding horses. Mr. Bolling attended Emory United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, Terry Bolling, Mr. Bolling is survived by two sons, Ronald D. Bolling and wife, Lisa, of Goodview, VA and David Tofano and wife, Jenny; two brothers, Ray Bolling, Sherman Bolling and wife, Barbara, all of Hinton, WV; one grandson, Tyler Tofano (Ron’s Best Buddy); three granddaughters, Tristyn Tofano, Brielle Schiff, Bentlee Schiff; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dog, Babie, and his horse, Pal.

In addition to his parents, Nathan and June Bolling, Mr. Bolling was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Bolling and daughter, Deb Tofano Schiff.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Emory United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Helmintoller, J.D. Cales, Ronnie Andrews, David Tofano, Tyler Tofano, and Sammy Arrington.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the service and suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Emory United Methodist Church, 7119 Jackson River Road, Hot Springs, VA 24445.
