Normagene Fix (Jingles) Coffey, 83, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born May 25, 1933, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Decker R. Fix Sr. and Nellie Allen Wolfe Fix.

She was a member of the Stone Church of the Brethren, Buena Vista.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thurman L. Coffey Sr.; sisters, Virginia F. Breeden, Vivian F. Comer, and June F. Page; and brother, Decker R. Fix Jr.

Surviving are sons, Stanley B. Coffey (Roxie), Thurman L. Coffey Jr. (Sharon), and daughter, Yolanda C. (Landy) Boatwright (Joe); five grandchildren, Michelle Martin (Keith), Kara Sloan (DJ), Danielle Floyd (Jamie), Drew Coffey (Heather), and Trent Boatwright; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Reginald A. Fix; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, at the Stone Church of the Brethren with Pastor Russ Barb and Pastor Kris Peaden officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stone Church of the Brethren or Rockbridge Community Church of the Nazarene.
