Paul Charles Baker, 70, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at his residence.

Born February 12, 1946, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Irvine Baker and Phyllis Thomas Baker.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis "Sissy" Sprott.

Mr. Baker attended Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Farris Baker; sons, Chuck Baker and wife, Brooke, and Jeff Baker and wife, Melisa; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Jayla, Charlie, Brittany, and Dalton; brother, Tommy Baker and wife, Courtney; special mother-in-law, Ruth Farris, and special Aunt, Madeline Allen; and many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. A. Mills and the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice.
