Obituary for Cora (Butch) Caldwell Cora (Butch) Caldwell
Ohio Native Was Sweet Chalybeate Resident

Cora (Butch) Caldwell, 78, of Sweet Chalybeate, Virginia, passed away on August 6, 2016, surrounded by family at St. Mary's Hospital in St Louis, MO.

She was born October 2, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio.

Butch was preceded in death by the love of her life, William "Bill" Caldwell, and is coming home to be laid to rest beside him.

Butch spent her last journey in life holding her great grandchildren, enjoying her first professional baseball game, bowling, critiquing "DWTS" performances with Kathleen, teaching the jitterbug, and enjoying an occasional glass of wine with her family.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Chris Bell; grandchildren, Elena and Joseph Ubben, Thomas Janicik, Michael Bell and Erika Bell, all of St Louis; daughter, Terry Swanger; grandchildren, Ben and Allison Swanger; Erin Swanger and Kevin Taylor; great grandchildren, Aiden Swanger, Aubriella Taylor and Aryanna Taylor all of Columbus, OH; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Christina Caldwell and grandchildren Jessica Caldwell and William Caldwell II of Ohio.

Burial will take place at 10 a.m. September 4, 2016 at the Sweet Chalybeate Cemetery, Alleghany County, VA.

Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is in charge of local arrangements.
