Barbara Ann Kirk Kelly, 80, of The Woodlands Health and Rehab Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia, formerly of West Ridgeway Street in Clifton Forge, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at The Woodlands.

She was born on August 29, 1936 in Smithers, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William Arnold and Dolly Frances Boyd Kirk.

Throughout her life she worked as a private duty caregiver and sitter.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edjar J. Kelly, a son, Michael "Tony" Kelly, two brothers, Hollis and Sammy Kirk, and a sister, Judy.

She is survived by a son, Mark Steven Kelly and his wife, Annie, of Clifton Forge, a daughter-in-law, Pauline Kelly, of Clifton Forge, a brother, Jerry Teaford, a sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Teaford, of Eagle Rock, three grandchildren, Kristen Brown and her husband, Jason, Greg Kelly, Andrew Kelly, a great-grandson, Coy Brown, all of Clifton Forge; her special friends, Betty Hyler and Barbara Vest, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 from the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, with the Reverend Teddy Bias officiating.

Following the funeral service, her body will be cremated.

Interment will be private.

Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of the service Thursday at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia.
