Mrs. Audrey McPeak Griffith, age 93, of Greenville, SC, died Saturday, October 8, 2016.

She was the wife of the late Frederick Rictor Griffith.

Mrs. Griffith was born May 29, 1923 in Union, WV, the daughter of the late Jabe McPeak and Minnie Crosier McPeak.

She was a homemaker and an accomplished quilter.

Mrs. Griffith was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Audrey was also a member of the Eastern Star, the Red Hat Society and the Jackson River Garden Club. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Mrs. Griffith is survived by a son, Steven L. Griffith and wife, Karen; a daughter-in-law, Susan Griffith; two grandchildren, Austin Griffith and Matthew Griffith; five great grandchildren; several nieces including Karen Bailey, Bobbie Sibold and Beth Mustang; and a nephew, Jimmy McPeak.

In addition to her parents, Jabe and Minnie McPeak and her husband, Frederick Rictor Griffith, Mrs. Griffith was preceded in death by a son, Frederick R. Griffith; one brother, Elwood McPeak and two sisters, Evelyn Roles and Irene Campbell.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Hartsfield officiating.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
