Homemaker Was Clifton Forge Native

Deborah Tucker Worley, age 58, of 160 Railway Road, Glen Wilton, Eagle Rock, Virginia died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was born August 7, 1958 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Everett Lewis Tucker, Sr. and Gerda Erna Riemann Tucker.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed collecting costume jewelry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two three brothers, Everett L. Tucker, Jr., Willie Lee Tucker, Sr., and Kurt Raymond Tucker.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Glenn Worley, Jr. of Glen Wilton; a daughter, Kimberly Lynn Worley of Hot Springs; a son, Jeremy Keith Worley of Hot Springs; four sisters, Gertrude "Schatzie" White and husband, Robert of Covington, Myrtle Helga Drennen and husband, Jesse of Clifton Forge, Carolyn Ruth Stuple and husband, Randy of Fincastle, and Patricia Claudine Tucker of Covington; a brother, Joel Ivan Tucker of Roanoke; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wallace and Mary Worley of Covington; a sister-in-law, Cathy Shiflett and husband, Tracy of Maryland; a grandson, Micah Evan Worley; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Mike Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Locust Bottom Cemetery, Botetourt County.

The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home, and also following the service at the home of Eric and Melissa Drennen, 513 Commercial Avenue, Clifton Forge, VA.
