Jerry Cecil Neal, age 68, of 2230 Russell Avenue SW, Roanoke, Virginia, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.

He was born September 23, 1948 in Rhodell, West Virginia to the late Robert A. and Betty Crumb Neal.

He was a former maintenance employee for Central Properties.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Neal of Roanoke; a daughter; a son; two sisters; one brother; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; special friends, Jim and June Patterson; and his beloved dog "Buttons".

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Mr. James Patterson officiating. Interment will immediately follow.
