Obituary for Arleigh Warwick St. Clair Arleigh Warwick St. Clair
Covington Native Was Very Active In Her Community

Mrs. Arleigh Warwick St. Clair, of Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was the wife of Robert Lewis St. Clair, to whom she had been married for almost sixty years.

Mrs. St. Clair was born in Covington, the daughter of the late John David Warwick and Evelyn Smith Warwick.

A lifetime resident of this area, she was a graduate of Covington High School, Class of 1957. Mrs. St. Clair earned an Associate Degree in secretarial science from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Arleigh was a member of Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Mrs. St. Clair was a member and past president of the Jackson River Garden Club, where she excelled in floral design. She was also a member of the Covington Women's Club, Peacemaker Quilt Club, and was a volunteer at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany.

Of all of her accomplishments in life, she was extremely proud of her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. St. Clair is survived by her children, Timothy David St. Clair and wife, Marian of Greenville, SC, Lisa St. Clair Ahlbrand and husband, Steve of Clifton Forge, and Stephen Robert St. Clair and wife, Anita of Summit, NJ; five grandchildren, Andrew David St. Clair, Daniel Royce St. Clair, Sarah Elizabeth Ahlbrand, Ian Robert St.Clair, Amanda Ross St.Clair; two great grandchildren, Caitlyn St. Clair and David St. Clair; and one sister, Betty Lou Zini of Greer, NC.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating. Entombment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, P. O. Box 96280, Washington, DC 20077 or Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 2306 S. Church Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
