Brenda Manuel Clark, 72, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away, Sunday, July 30, 2017 at her residence.

Born July 7, 1945, in Austinville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. Manuel, Sr. and June Edmonds Manuel.

She was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Woodson; and granddaughter, Hailey Clark.

Surviving are children, Troy Clark (Lisa) and Joey Clark (Morgan); five grandchildren, Ashley, Cole, Allison, Nicholas, and Natalie Clark; and one great grandchild, Kinsley Clark; brothers, Charles Manuel, Jr. (Melissa), Roger Manuel (Becky), Robert "Bob" Manuel (Peggy), Pres Manuel (Sandra), Steve Manuel (Florrie), and Darrell "BB" Manuel (Terry); and sisters, Vicky Nelson, Sue Tomlin (Lonnie), and Teresa Schechterly; and special family and friends, Freddie Benson, Jerry Biby, Joyce Wheeler, Chy Clark, Connie Clark, Charles Clark, Naomi Nuchols, and Lewis Clark; and many nieces and nephews who dearly loved her.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. W. A. Mills, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the church.
