Marian Goodbar Leslie, 84, of Lexington, Virginia, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at Heritage Hall.

Born April 10, 1933, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel Goodbar.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Leslie, four brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Leslie was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church and retired from Burlington Industries after 38 years.

Surviving are her sons, Tony Leslie and wife, Helen, and Vincent Leslie and wife, Mitsy; one brother, Johnny Goodbar; four grandchildren, Derek Leslie and wife, Kasey, Chris Leslie and wife, Amy, Ashley Cochran and husband, Mike, and Mallory Kilgore and husband, Ben; eight great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Walt and Sawyer Leslie, Carter and Charlotte Cochran, Emma and Robert Leslie, and Eleanor Kilgore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.
