Helen Hinkle Wolfe, 78, of 6804 Potts Creek Road, Covington, Virginia, died Monday, October 9, 2017 in Pasadena, Maryland.

Mrs. Wolfe was born July 9, 1929 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Edna Kimberlin Hinkle Armentrout and Frederick Marion Armentrout.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Wolfe in 2016 and also by seven sisters and brothers.

Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn "Susie" Hammer and her husband, Bill of Shenandoah and Shannon Wolfe-Critchley and her husband, David of Pasadena, MD; one son, Gerald Lee Wolfe and his wife, Kimberley, of Pasadena, MD; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Robert "Billy" Hinkle and his wife, Barbie of Covington and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, October 13, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home.

Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be David Critchley, Tommy Del Grosso, Michael Johnson, Jesse Hammer, Cody Wolfe and Mike Eichorn.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.
