Obituary for Jennifer Richardson Jennifer Richardson
Hot Springs Native Was Long-Time Highland County Public Library Volunteer

Jennifer Richardson, 67, of Charlottesville and formerly of Monterey, Virginia, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Charlottesville Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 18, 1950 in Hot Springs, a daughter of the late Mary Madge (Sullenberger) and Bruce Rice Richardson Jr.

"Jenny", alongside her mother, was a devoted and long-time volunteer with the Highland County Public Library. She enjoyed time spent working on puzzles, reading books, as well as her art work. Additionally, Jenny will be remembered for her love of cats, most especially, her beloved cat, "Friday."

In addition to her parents, Jenny was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Patricia Czermak.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Winnie Richardson of Monterey; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Bruce and John Sullivan of Vancouver, Washington and Linda O'Hearn of Gainesville; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Monterey Cemetery with the Rev. C. William "Bill" and Mary Lou Cox officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Highland County Public Library, P. O. Box 519, Monterey, Va. 24465.
