Lewisburg Resident Was Former Ronceverte Elementary Cook, Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Member

Mary Frances Dolan, 87, of Lewisburg, West Virginia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

She was born February 25, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Hattie Sanders.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dolan; son, Stephen Dolan; grandsons, Cpl. James Dolan and John Morrison; beloved sister, Mary (Mertie) Virginia Jones; and beloved cousin, Margaret McDermott.

Mary is survived by her son, Mack Dolan of Lewisburg; daughter CK Dolan (Sarah) of Teays Valley; grandsons, Jason Dolan (Susan) of Orlando, FL; Martin Bowling (Mandi) of Cross Lanes, and John Morrison of Lewisburg; grandaughter, Jenny Bias (Rodney) of Jacksonville, FL; great-grandsons, Trevor and Chase Dolan of Teays Valley; Roamin Bowling of Cross Lanes; Zack, Jake, and Molly Bias of Jacksonville, FL; James Vaughan of Orlando, FL; and DeWayne and Bobby Lee Vaughan of Roxboro, NC; and special friends, Connie Ray and Donna Yates of Teaberry and Margaret McDermott's children and grandchildren of Ohio.

Mary Frances was well-known, loved, and respected among the people in her community. She was a cook at Ronceverte Elementary and also worked at Appalachian Electronics Instruments, Inc.

She was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and treasurer for many years.

She loved cooking and gardening. She was a loving, caring, and generous person who loved her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. and the service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, November 13th, at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte, WV, with Donnie Weikle officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Ronceverte. Flowers are welcome, since Mary Frances loved flowers.
