Harry Lee Alston, Jr., age 60, of 204 Ninth Street, Roanoke, Virginia, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke.

He was born July 25, 1957 in Staunton, Virginia, to Harry Lee Alston, Sr. and the late Dorothy Hardman Brandon Alston.

He graduated from Clifton Forge High School.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lenwood Alston.

He is survived by his father, Harry "Pete" Alston, Sr. and wife, Hester of Clifton Forge; a sister, Cynthia Alston of Roanoke; two brothers, Donald Lee Alston of Roanoke and Michael Alston; and a number of nieces and nephews.

His body has been cremated and there will be no services at this time.
