Mrs. Billie Jean Gabbard Bradley, age 82, of Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at her residence.

She was the wife of the late Ivan Hobert Bradley.

Mrs. Bradley was born October 4, 1935 in Jackson, KY, the daughter of the late Bedford "Buck" Gabbard and Median Little Gabbard.

A resident of this community since 1955, she was employed by Bradley's Sawmill, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and retired from Halmode Apparel.

Mrs. Bradley attended Church of the Nazarene.

Billie Jean enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing with her husband, Ivan.

Mrs. Bradley is survived by three sons, Robert Charles Bradley, John Carson Bradley, and James William Mundy; five daughters, Frances B. Buchanan, Patricia A. Bradley, Betty B. Calande, Bobbie Charles and Susan B. Fridley; sixteen grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by four brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Wiseman officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Austin Bradley, Jonathan McKenny, Chase Walton, Justin Paxton and Tracy Wolfe.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
