Obituary for Ronald Stuart VanBuren Ronald Stuart VanBuren
White Sulphur Springs Resident Worked In Forestry Industry

Ronald Stuart VanBuren, 75, passed away on February 1, 2018 at the White Sulphur Springs Center.

He was born October 10, 1942 the son of the late Mildred Edna Sevy VanBuren and John Hamil VanBuren.

Mr. VanBuren had worked with the Forestry Service, a self-employed timber cutter, farmer, and caretaker for Grass Run Farms in Neola.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on his farm and taking walks with his several dogs he had over the years.

Preceding him in death other than his parents were his sister, Edna Byrle Tyler and two brothers, John Dale VanBuren and Julian Russell VanBuren.

Surviving is his sister, Betty Lou Masters of Ronceverte; daughter, Rhonda Sue Serrano of Georgia, two sons, Shawn Kellen VanBuren of Georgia and Brian Lucas VanBuren of Neola; a granddaughter, Christine Elizabeth VanBuren; two grandsons, Jacob Mallow VanBuren and William Eric VanBuren, all of Neola; two great grandsons, Hamil Anthony VanBuren of Lewisburg and Roy Lee VanBuren of Slaty Fork.

Funeral services will be held on Monday February 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel in White Sulphur Springs. Interment will follow at the Hefner Cemetery in Neola.

The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
