Charles Leslie (Chick) Bowen, 75, of 5401 Big Ridge Road, Covington, Virginia died Friday, March 16, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Bowen was born February 7, 1943 in Alleghany County, a son of the late Zella Louise Bowen.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his life partner of 53 years, Sonja Taylor of Covington; his son, Charles L. Bowen, and his wife, Billy of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Taylor Bowen, Sage Bowen and Sebastian Bowen, all of Chesterfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
