Phyllis Juanita Huffman, 80, of Buena Vista, Virginia died Monday, April 16, 2018 at Shenandoah Valley Health and Rehab Center.

Born June 10, 1937 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Edward Hatcher and Minnie Kate Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vaden Huffman Sr.

Mrs. Huffman was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Marsha L. Thoemke, Richard N. Creasy, Vaden L. Huffman, Wanda N. Hite and Roland R. Creasy; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl Moore, Pete Worth and Tommy Worth; and sisters, Myrtle Clark, Linda Johnson, Lois Smith, Peggy Painter and Joanne Jones.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. W. A. Mills. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the funeral home.
