Michael Lee Rowsey, 68, of Arrington, Virginia passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at his residence.

Born Sept. 17, 1949 in Lexington, he was a son of the late Curtis Lee Rowsey and Bessie Pauline Rowsey.

Surviving are his wife, Lois Marie Carter Rowsey; three sons, Elvis Christopher Rowsey (Christine), Brian Michael Rowsey, and Jason Nathaniel Rowsey; three grandchildren, Laci Marie Rowsey, Micah Dale Rowsey and Grace Nichole Rowsey; two step-grandchildren, Chloe Hall and Jade Hall; brothers, Joseph S. Rowsey and Curtis E. Rowsey (Mary); numerous special cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the funeral home.
