Carolyn Jean Sensabaugh, 53, of Fairfield, Virginia died June 8, 2018 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

Born January 15, 1965 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late George Washington Sweet Jr. and Gertie Bell Hinkle Sweet.

In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Anthony L. Sensabaugh.

She was a member of the Fairfield Moose Lodge.

Surviving are a son, Freddie S. Sensabaugh; sisters, Brenda D Sensabaugh and Sandra Snider; and brothers, George E. Sweet and Steve M. Cash.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Sheldon Sorrels. Burial will follow at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
