Michael Lyle Clark, 59, of Vesuvius, Virginia passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at his residence.

Born on January 8, 1959 in Rockbridge County, he was the son of Wallace L. Clark and the late Betty Butler Clark.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, James M. Clark.

Michael is survived by a son, Brandon Scott Clark of Glasgow; brother, Charles Clark and wife, Rosa; and sisters, Cathy Hailey, Teresa Clark and Deborah Clark; many aunts and uncles including Curtis and Shirley Clark, who offered much love and support; many nieces and nephews; special friend Sandy "Granny" Garrett, of Buena Vista, and many special friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Irish Creek Community Cemetery with Pastor Adam Williams officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Rockbridge Area Hospice.
