Obituary for Nellie Wolfe Weikle Nellie Wolfe Weikle
Retired Book Binder Was Alleghany County Native

Nellie Wolfe Weikle, 88, died June 26, 2018, in Maryland.

She was born February 24, 1930, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late James Henry Lee Wolfe and Ruthie Ann Elizabeth Fridley Wolfe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Wolfe; her second husband, Hampton W. Weikle; a son, Gary Wolfe; grandson, Tim Childers; great grandson, Tim Childers, Jr. and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Weikle retired as a book binder for Eagle Press.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Deale, MD. She always enjoyed reading the Bible and loving on her grandchildren.

Surviving are five daughters: Brenda Rhoten and husband, Larry of Colonial Heights, Linda Childers and husband, Dan of Dinwiddie, Cathy Hostetter and busband, Stephen of Churchton, MD, Betty Burton and husband, Raymond of Troutville and Becky Weikle of Laurel, MD; her step-daughter, Libby Gills of Roanoke; her step-son, Arnold Wolfe and wife, Judy of Brookneal; 19 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren great great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Mays officiating.

Interment will be made in the Wolfe Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Home.

The family requests that donations in Mrs. Weikle's name be made to Arritt Funeral Home to defray funeral costs.

The Arritt Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
