Dorothy Mae (Dottie) Hoke, 64, of Covington, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea.

Dorothy was born on September 5, 1953 in Ronceverte, West Virginia to the late Dorothy Irene Ridgeway.

She worked at WalMart for many years.

Other than her mother she is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy S. Hoke; sisters, Rose Vance, Shelby Tomlinson, Joyce Coffman, Louise Hood; brothers, William "Bud" Ridgeway, Lacy Turner, and Jimmy Turner.

Survivors include sons, Tommy Edward "Tink" Hoke (Melonie), and Brian Hoke (Sandra); sisters, Peggy Holiday (Erskine) of Ronceverte, Bonnie Demo (Joe) Roscommon, MI, Sandy Bucklen (Vernon) of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Makilynn Mae Hoke.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Hokes Chapel Cemetery in Covington, Virginia. Visitation for the public will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.
