Beatrice Hartless Hostetter, 87, of Lexington, Virginia died Monday, July 16, 2018 at Havenwood Manor.

She was born December 4, 1930 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Roy Thomas Hartless and Ellen Gordon Hartless.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Hostetter, and her son, John David Hostetter Jr.

Beatrice was a member of Ebenezer A. R. Presbyterian Church, where she was very active in many projects.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Debra Morris Hostetter; brothers Charles "Tommy" Hartless and Roy Leon Hartless; two grandchildren, Colton Hostetter and Janice Hostetter Edwards and her husband, Michael; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Ebenezer A. R. Presbyterian Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
