Obituary for Jessie Marion Patterson, Jr. Jessie Marion Patterson, Jr.
U. S. Air Force Veteran Enjoyed Vehicle Rebuilding

Jessie Marion Patterson, Jr., age 71 of 4717 McKinney Hollow Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his residence.

He was born September 21, 1946 in Clifton Forge to the late Jessie Patterson Sr. and Phyllis Frances Persinger Grimm.

He served in the United States Air Force, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking.

Jessie loved working in the shop rebuilding cars and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Buck Grimm and his mother-in-law, Fay Youngblood.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Patterson of Lavonia, GA; three daughters, Sara Watson and husband, C.J. of Johntown, OH, Stephanie P. Hale of Alderson, WV, and Shey P. Ransdell of Panama City, FL; two sons, Jessie M. "Pee-Wee" Patterson III, and Josh Little and wife, Allison of Hiram, GA; two sisters, Juanita Savage and Diane Hinkle; two brothers, William "Billy" Patterson and Roy David Patterson, all of Clifton Forge; eleven grandchildren, Kamden, Parker, Dylan, Bella, Jessica, Sky, Paige, Dustin, Justin, Nanci, and Niomi; seven great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Jessie's wishes, his body will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, handled the arrangements.
