Margaret Anne Rooklin of Charlottesville, Virginia passed away August 9, 2018 at the age of 63.

Margaret was a beloved daughter of the late Woodrow and Helen Rooklin.

At the time of her death, Margaret was Manager of the Rooklin Family, LLC.

Margaret was a 1977 graduate of Radford College, earning a degree in business.

After successful careers in advertising sales and jewelry sales, Margaret retired from radio management in 1998.

Margaret enjoyed a life well-lived. So much of her time was devoted to her family, friends and neighbors.

Margaret is survived by sisters, Patricia and Elizabeth and brother, David. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law. Margaret leaves behind the adoring nieces, nephews, and grand nephews that she loved so much: Lauren, Jason, Jack, George, Edward, Gary, Michael, Hannah, Seth, Julia Margaret, Leah, Hillard, Woodrow, and Sarah Margaret. Margaret is also survived by her many lifelong friends, new friends, and neighbors.

Margaret's ashes will be interred at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington. A grave side service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Tom Collins officiating.
