Marjorie Ruley Reid, 82, of Lexington, Virginia died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Havenwood Manor.

She was born June 24, 1936 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Cecil Ruley and Minnie Muterspaw Ruley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth Ruley and Everett Ruley, and sisters, Loleta Rogers and Aileen Brads.

Marjorie was a member of the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church and retired from Stonewall Jackson Hospital with over 42 years of service.

Marjorie also loved cats.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Blane E. Reid.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Casey Clark. Burial will follow at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
