Richard Crossman Wolfe II of Buena Vista, Virgina died at his home on September 3, 2018.

He was born November 14, 1981 in Fort Myers, Florida and moved to Rockbridge County in 1998 with his family.

He was a 2000 graduate of Rockbridge County High School and attended Dabney S. Lancaster Community College.

He married Virginia (Freeze) Wolfe on September 29, 2012 and they have a son, Andrew Payne Wolfe II.

In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by his step children, Dillion Wright and Katelyn Abigail Wright; his parents, Rosemary and Andrew Wolfe; and brothers and sisters, Connor Wolfe, Kristen Lessen, Katharine O'Donnell and Randolph Wolfe.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at Christ Episcopal Church, 2246 Walnut Ave., Buena Vista, on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Dr. R. David Cox and the Rev. Bryon LePere.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service starting at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery in Lexington.
