Obituary for Leo W. Coleman Leo W. Coleman
Korean War Veteran Operated Leo's Barber Shop For Over 60 Years

Leo W. Coleman of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away September 15, 2018.

He was born on April 15, 1930, the son of the late Lacy Coleman and Mary C. Rhodes.

Leo was preceded in death by a brother, "Smokey" Coleman.

He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. A barber for over 60 years, he owned and operated Leo's Barber Shop. He enjoyed "Blue Grass Music" and playing the mandolin with his friends.

Surviving are his wife, Kaye P. Coleman; children, Everette Coleman, Lexington, Debbi Coleman, Buena Vista, Greg Coleman, North Carolina, and Amy Lineberry, Lexington; grandchildren, Chad Coleman, Zach Austin, Abigail and Madelyn Lineberry, Sydney and Rachel Coleman; and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Kylie Austin.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Arnold Bradley officiating.
