Rockbridge County Native Was Faith Baptist Church Member

Connie Worley Henson, 71, of Natural Bridge, Virginia died Monday, September 24, 2018 at her home.

She was born May 12, 1947 in Rockbridge County, the daughter of the late William Myers Worley and Stella Frances Branch Worley.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mavis Johnson, and her brother, John Myers Worley.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Connie also loved hi-botching.

Surviving are her husband, Claude Wayne Henson; children, Shellee Moore and husband, Dale, Robert L. Coleman II and wife, DeIna, both of Lexington; Jason Worley Coleman and wife, Amy of Natural Bridge; step-daughter, Jeannie Dooling and husband, Drew of Florida; sisters, Nellie Frances Hill of Natural Bridge Station and Gilberetta Carter of Greenville; brother, Larry Worley and wife, Judy of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, John Scott Moore, Maranda Moore, Grayson Coleman, Olivia Peery and husband, Justin, Virginia Coleman, Schuyler Coleman, Reagan Coleman, Tristin Dooling and Lawson Dooling; sisters-in-law, Louise Worley, Robbin Coleman and husband, Gary; and brother-in-law, Steve Henson and wife, Angie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at Faith Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 by Pastor Terry Bostic and the Rev. William Thomas.

The family will receive friends after the service in the church social hall.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity of choice.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
