Obituary for William (Bill) Orville Taylor, Jr. William (Bill) Orville Taylor, Jr.
Former Pocahontas County Resident Dies In Ohio

William (Bill) Orville Taylor, Jr. of Eaton, Ohio died October 9, 2018 at the age of 63 in Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.

He was born January 10, 1955 in Painesville, Ohio to William Orville Taylor and Margaret Barnhouse Taylor.

He graduated from Pocahontas County High School on June 1, 1973 and married Charlene Frances Hogan on July 27, 1973 in Covington, VA.

They are the parents of three children: William Orville Taylor III, Kevin Scott Taylor (Virginia), and Jennifer Rochelle Taylor Cross (Kyle); grandparents of five grandchildren: Braden Cross, Ethan Cross, Dylan Cross, William Adam Taylor, and Lora Ruby-Gwyn Salley; and step grandparents to Callie Savage. Bill is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Wilfong, Christine Collins, and Roberta Taylor-Armstrong; and a brother, Carl Taylor; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Another brother, Mark (Tony) Taylor, preceded him in death.

Bill was an electronics maintenance technician at the time of his death with Belden Wire in Richmond, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held October 13, 2018 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Dunmore, WV with the viewing at 2:00 p.m. and funeral immediately following at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be at the family cemetery there afterwards.
