Kenneth Robert Anderson, 78, of Ronceverte, West Virginia passed away Tuesday morning, October 23, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Robert was born October 28, 1939 in Alderson, WV, the son of Lake Eugene and Roxie Zimmerman Anderson.

He had served in the U. S. Army and National Guard, member of the Moose Lodge.

Robert was an avid card player and loved watching westerns. He was a retired lead lineman with VEPCO.

Preceding Mr. Anderson, other than his parents, was a son, Kenneth Anderson; and his brothers, Carl "Duke" Anderson and Lake Anderson.

Surviving are his sons, Ronnie (Jill) Anderson of Ronceverte and Eddie (Jeannie) Anderson of Roanoke, VA.; sister, Ann Geiger of Michigan; grandchildren, Debbie Yates, Crystal Anderson (Darrin Lowe), Arica Anderson (Shawn Carter), Kayla Anderson (Jake Wade) and Nicholas Anderson (Kayla); great grandchildren, Bayley Jones, Creed Carter, Lockland Carter, Cadeance Melara, Samarah Melara, Caleb Smith and Keira Smith, and his fuzzy companion, Al.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace in Ronceverte with interment to follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

The family will receive their family and friends on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
