Donald Gene Ayers of Glasgow, Virginia died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Heritage Hall.

Born January 5, 1952 in Botetourt County, he was a son of the late Lackey Robert Ayers and Margaret Isabell Bennington Ayers.

Surviving are his sisters: Margaret Thompson of Lexington, Bessie Kirby of Forrest, Margaret Ann Green of Gladys, and Carolyn Sue Burks of Roanoke; and brothers, Thomas Ayers, Bobby Ayers and Lacy Junior Ayers, all of Big Island.

There will be no services at this time.
