Obituary for Huby (Junior) Dunnagan, Jr. Huby (Junior) Dunnagan, Jr.
Marine Corps Veteran Was Retired Farmer, Warm Springs Presbyterian Church Member

Huby (Junior) Dunnagan, Jr., 83, of Burnsville, Virginia died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Bath Community Hospital.

He was born December 11, 1934 in Hot Springs, Virginia, the son of the late Huby Dunnagan, Sr. and Bertie Elizabeth Chestnut Dunnagan.

Junior was a retired farmer.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Junior was a member of Warm Springs Presbyterian Church, and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church.

He was a loving husband and father, and an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and farming.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bettie Louise Smith Dunnagan of Burnsville; children, Timmy Dunnagan and wife, Christy of Bacova, Ronnie Dunnagan and wife, Annette of Hot Springs; Michelle Dunnagan and wife, Leigh of Roanoke; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hepler of Easton, Maryland, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Junior was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber Dunnagan; a sister, Jewel Sandora; half-brothers, Charles, Bill, and Vance Webb; a half-sister, Connie Honsaker, and a special sister-in-law, Janet Smith.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 16, 2018 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor Lorrie Aikens officiating and Pastor Donald Lee Altizer assisting.

The family will receive friends one hour before at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
