Harriet M. Large, 87, of the Gilbreath community, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center.

Harriet was born in Lexington, Virginia and was raised on Houston Street with her brothers and sisters - Jack, Richard, Bobby, Marie and Joyce.

She was a longtime employee of Natural Bridge.

She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and antiques.

She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Herbert and Karen Large, John Robert Large; grandchildren and their spouses, Rachel Maggie Large-Fortner, Daniel and Paige Large, and Eric Large; special great-grandchildren: Meiah Dean, Domynig Forbus, Caidyn Fortner, Dakota Large, Aaliyah Large, Leah King, and Parker Large; special friends, Connie Dixson, Alan Wright, and Reba Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H. P. Large in 2014 and parents, Ashby Jackson and Leola Miley.
