Obituary for Bonnie Smith Kinsey Bonnie Smith Kinsey
Covington Native Worked With Sidney's, CFW; Was Calvary Christian Church Member

Mrs. Bonnie Smith Kinsey, age 70, of 107 Stone Mountain Road, Covington, Virginia died Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Brian Center Nursing Care-Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was the wife of Jakie Lynn Kinsey.

Mrs. Kinsey was born June 6, 1948 in Covington, the daughter of the late Bernard Elmo Smith and Reba Johnson Smith.

She was a lifetime member of this community.

During her working career, Mrs. Kinsey was employed by the former Sidney's Clothing Store and the former CFW Telephone Company.

Bonnie was a member of Calvary Christian Church. She enjoyed taking trips to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, as well as going outside especially to work in her flower garden. Most of all, Bonnie loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kinsey is survived by her sons, Jamie Worley and wife, Melinda of Atlanta, Terry Kinsey and wife, Anne of Covington and Ronnie Kinsey and wife, Christie of Covington; five grandchildren, Leslie Hope Worley of Rock Hill, SC, Christopher Kinsey, Emily Kinsey, Rachel Kinsey, Mason Kinsey, all of Covington; two sisters, Sharon S. Schuder and husband, Lawrence of Covington and Kathy S. Leitch and husband, Lewis of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mason Kinsey, Christopher Kinsey, Terry Simpson, Scott Martin, Steward Johnson and David Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.
