Clarence Paul Labadie, 70, of Hot Springs, Virginia died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Bath Community Hospital.

He was born May 24, 1948 in Windsor Ontario, Canada, the son of the late Pierre Lyle Labadie and Perette Martin Labadie.

Mr. Labadie was retired, having last worked at the Bath County Farm & Garden.

He was a loving husband who enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of eight years, Octavia Ann Jordan, whom he married on December 17, 2009 in Hope, Arkansas; two children, Tucker Labadie and wife, Allison of Weyers Cave, Virginia, Jessie Szczur and husband, John of Tacoma, Washington; a grandchild, Weston Labadie of Weyers Cave; a sister, Cheryl "Che" Pamela Jones and husband, Edwin "Mac" McCreary Jones of Homosassa, Florida; and a special friend, "Tee" Click.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with Pastor Lorrie Aikens officiating.
