Jon Carol Sherrard, 97, of Lexington, Virginia died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Sherrard was born November 22, 1920 in Hawaii, a daughter of the late John Cypril Douglas and Mary Catherine Durr Douglas.

Jon attended Lexington Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her three children, Jon Carol Economou of Woolwich, Maine, Lynn Carpenter Sherrard of Richmond, and John Douglas Sherrard of Hudson, N.C.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
