Charles Dennis Serber, 66, formerly of Salem and Buena Vista, Virginia passed away November 13, 2018.

He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on March 20, 1952 and was living in Blythewood, S.C.

He was preceded in death by his father, William R. Serber; mother, Lyla B. Serber; and wife, Wendy Floyd Serber.

He is survived by his son, Charles L. ( Karen M.) Serber; granddaughter, Katelyn E. Serber; and grandson, Owen R. Serber of Blythewood, S.C.; grand dog, Finn, his companion and protector; brother, William R. (Linda L.) Serber of Cape Coral, Fla.; sister, Lyla A. Serber of Blythewood, S.C.; nephew, Lyle R. Serber of Washington, D.C.; niece, Leslie J. Serber of Zug, Switzerland; and cousin, Jerry C. (Joan) Lee of San Diego, California.
