Rockbridge County Native Was Life Member Of The Stone Church Of The Brethren

Sarah Margaret Wiseman Coffey, 100, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Born April 17, 1918 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Wiseman and Mary Callie Scott Wiseman.

She was a life member of the Stone Church of the Brethren.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Coffey Sr.; and two grandchildren, Gregory Crissman and Angie Hall.

Surviving are her children, Barbara Ann Coffey Crissman (Clyde), Roy E. Coffey Jr. (Karen), Morris A. Coffey (Margie) and Keith S. Coffey (Dianna); grandchildren Morris A. Coffey, Jr., Renae Coffey Jenkins, Kimberly Norris, Craig Crissman, Sheila Crissman Bates, Rhonda Coffey, Daniel Coffey and Samuel Coffey; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home.

Memorials contributions may be made to the Stone Church of the Brethren, 2162 Forest Ave., Buena Vista, VA., or Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, VA.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
