Retired MeadWestvaco Millright Was Whatcoat United Methodist Church Member

Thomas Bradford Perry, 80, of White Sulphur Springs, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.

Born September 10, 1938 at White Sulphur Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Clyde Andrew Perry Sr. and Winnie Virginia Waid Perry.

Mr. Perry was retired from Mead Westvaco as a millwright mechanic and operated Tom's Body Shop in the evenings.

He attended the Whatcoat United Methodist Church, of which he and his grandson were instrumental in the construction.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Don Lee Perry, Clyde Andrew Perry Jr. and sisters, Myrtle Virginia Hall and Betty Lou Fertig.

Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-four years, Hilda Marie Defibaugh Perry; a grandson who he helped raise, Andrew Price of White Sulphur Springs, WV; a son, Thomas Mark Perry (Tammy) of Oak Hill, WV; daughter, Elaina Lynn Burks (Darryl) of Good, VA; a step-daughter, Dawn Pritt (Dave) of Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren, Amanda Mae Taylor (Buck) and Katherin Michelle Marston (Jason); great grandchildren, Cole Hinnant, Noah Hicks, Jesse Taylor, Asher Marston, Elijah Marston; special step-great grandchildren, Ashton, Ryland and Ariel Householder; little buddy and great nephew, Taylor Ahrens, who faithfully called him every Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Whatcoat United Methodist Church, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs, WV with Pastor Hat Defibaugh, Pastor Roger "Wahoo" McDaniel, Pastor Ed Craft and Pastor Lowell O'Dell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mapledale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Whatcoat United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy should be made to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
