Marshall Bowyer, 61, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia died Monday, April 22, 2019 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born October 20, 1957 in Lexington, he was a son of the late Robert Lee Bowyer Sr. and Betty Jane Chittum Bowyer.

Marshall was a member of the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and worked at Mohawk Industries.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Shanks Bowyer; children, Fred A. Bowyer (Lisa), and Brittany N. Bowyer; four brothers and one sister; and one step-granddaughter, Brett Turpin.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Patrick Lanaghan officiating. Burial will follow at Falling Springs Presbyterian Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Harrison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Natural Bridge Volunteer Fire Department, 5705 South Lee Hwy., Natural Bridge, VA 24578. Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
