Jerry Lyle Morrison of Lexington, Virginia passed away at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 21, 2019.

Born August 9, 1952, he was the only child of the late Lyle and Peggy Morrison of Raphine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Sorrells Morrison, and in-laws, Paul and Mary Sorrells.

He is survived by stepdaughter, Melissa Smith McDaniel of Clifton Forge; several uncles, an aunt, numerous cousins, his beloved dog, Thea, and many close friends who loved him dearly.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
