James Ray (Jimmy) Poole, 51, of Rockbridge Baths, Virginia died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Born November 12, 1967 in Norfolk, he was a son of the late James Cebert Poole and Sandra Jones Poole.

Mr. Poole was a field electrical supervisor with Frontier Kemper Constructers.

He was a U. S. Army Ranger with the 82nd Airborne Division, who served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield.

He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and farming.

Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Faith Brown Poole; children, Ethan Poole and Aerial Poole; and sisters, Angel Poole and Denise Wells.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at Harrison Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Lloyd Via.

Friends may gather with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 at Harrison Funeral Home.
