White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Former Greenbrier Hotel Plumber

Barry Wayne Ware, 60, supportive loving husband, from White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, left his earthly home on Wednesday May 22, 2019 at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.

Barry was born October 14, 1958 in Covington, Virginia, the son of Dallas L. Ware of White Sulphur Springs and the late Barbara Ware.

He was of the Baptist Faith and was a former plumber with the Greenbrier Hotel.

Barry loved representing Santa Claus, loved camping with his family, golf, loved telling and playing jokes, but most of all loved his family.

Preceding him in death other than his mother was his brother, Steve Ware.

Surviving him is the luckiest woman on the earth, his wife, Carolyn Scott Ware; sisters, Brenda Scott and her husband, Joey of White Sulphur Springs, Bridget Coughenour and her husband, Keith of Pittsburgh, PA. and Stephanie Bowling and her husband, Bob of White Sulphur Springs; God Child, Courtney Whiting of White Sulphur Springs; fur babies, Zoey and Theo; very dear sister, friend Margie Geiger of Ronceverte; very special friends, Michael and Rose Whited of White Sulphur Springs; special cousin, Shannon Ware; nieces and nephews, Joseph Scott, Jr (Crystal) of White Sulphur springs, Melissa Scott Olczak (Casey) of Lewisburg, Ryan Michael Callison of White Sulphur Springs, Alayna Marie Coughenour of Pittsburgh, PA., Kimberly Lester (Mark) of Neola, Kevin Scott of White Sulphur Springs and Aaron Martin (Brittany) of Union.

A celebration of Barry's Life will be held Saturday May 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda Church in White Sulphur Springs with pastors, Ralph Hubbard, Randy Gilliam and Chad Dingess officiating.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.

Following the services at Bethesda the family and friends will be gathering at Paisley Park in White Sulphur Springs.

In lieu of flowers the family strongly suggests memorial contributions be made to: National Children's Cancer Society, 5740 Westbourne Ave., Columbus, OH 43213 or St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
