Jo Ann Ramsey Matheny, 78, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

Born December 12, 1940 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Gibson Thomas Ramsey and Teresa Louise Floyd Ramsey.

Jo Ann was a member of Lexington Church of God.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Clay Matheny Sr.; and brother, Tommy Ramsey.

Surviving are her son, John Clay Matheny Jr. and wife, Stella; daughter-in-law, Sherry; four grandsons, Shawn and wife, Lindy, Johnathan, Josh and Colby; one granddaughter, Autumn; seven great-granddaughters; and special friend, Michael Garrett.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, June 24 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mike Moyers officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
