Alleghany County Native Dies At Age 92

Celia Wolfe Kimberlin Terry, 92, of 5619 Potts Creek Road, Covington, Virginia died Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Mrs. Terry was born August 27, 1926, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Coyd and Annie Wright Wolfe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Kimberlin, Sr., in 1987; her second husband, Robby Terry in 1998; a son, Robert Kimberlin; and a granddaughter, Ashley Kimberlin; two sisters and three brothers.

She was a former employee of the Industrial Rayon Corp. in Covington.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Robert Campbell and Norma Jean and Ernie Griffith, all of Covington; six sons, Norman Kimberlin, Jr. and his wife, Patty, Coyd Kimberlin and his wife, Judy, Michael Kimberlin and his wife, Sherry, all of Covington; Timothy Kimberlin and his wife, Anita of Easton, MD; David Kimberlin and Mark Kimberlin, both of Covington; 22 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one brother, Albert Wolfe of Covington; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Wanda Bogar.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

Interment will be made in Lone Star Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for one hour before service time on Saturday at Arritt Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Lori and Robert Campbell at 6050 Uplands Road.

The family suggests that donations in Mrs. Terry’s name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice, P. O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
