Nelson Burdette Harvey, 67, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Ronceverte/Fairlea, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the Vista Hospice Center at Deerfield Beach, FL, due to an accident at home.

He co-owned his construction company in Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin R. Harvey and business partner, Marcel Delage.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Anna Harvey; brother, Ray Harvey (Linda); sister, Sandy Williams Smith; four nieces and nephews, Michelle Williams Morgan (Barry), Michael Williams, Dana Kinder (Monty), and Brian Harvey (Cheryl); four great-nieces and two great great-nephews; as well as lifelong friend, Michael Rodoussakis.

Services will be held at Fairlea ARP Presbyterian Church in Fairlea (directly across front entrance of fair grounds) at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2019 with Pastor Ike Hughes officiating.
