James Rogers West, 58, of Lexington, Virginia lost his battle to cancer on August 23, 2019 at the Veterans Hospital in Salem.

He was born June 7, 1961 to the late Robert and Eldena West.

He was predeceased by five brothers, Robert, Carl, Thomas, David and Danny.

He is survived by two sisters, Joan Lamb (Randy) of New York and Nancy Miller (Garland) of Buena Vista; three sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7 at Green Hill Cemetery with Bryan Clark officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
